Hi all,
First of all I’m riding 2009 jeremy jones.
I’m spending most of my time in the forest or riding in powders. Except that I’m riding in parks.
This season I figured 180’s and butter blabla

The boards I have in my mind is;

Gnu Street Series 2011
K2 Fastplant 2011
LibTech SkateBanana 2011
Bataleon Riot 2011
Gnu Danny Kass 2010
K2 WWW 2011 or 2010

if you don’t agree with these boards could you just tell what can I look for?

thanks.

I’d put the SkateBanana and Fastplant at the front of the list.  Rich loved the Fastplant in the video review.

Yeah my vote would be with the Fastplant. If not then something with C2 banana like the Gnu Danny Kass which you listed and the Never Summer Evo or a board with Camber between the feet and rocker at the tips like the Atomic Axum, Rossi Angus or YES Typo. I ride the park with my Angus most days, today it didn’t have too much trouble with the ft of powder that fell over night.

Ok then I will find a way to try it first.
My last concern is which binding will fit well with fastplant?

Depending on the size K2 will list what size bindings work, it’s a safe bet medium bindings will fit most snowboards.

On brands, anything goes except Burton ICS bindings.  Rich loves Drakes, I dig Rides, Tom likes Salomon, Tobi likes small animals, anything goes. :)

(He’s not around to defend himself either, hahahaha!)

What about drake reload, Ride delta, union danny kass or burton malativa are these fit with fastplant?
I really don’t know anything about choosing bindings.

I’ll be interested to see what people think about the claims made that some bindings are now specifically designed for rocker boards, and to hear any first hand experience of that.

I’m using a pair of missions on my first rocker - been all cambered before this - and I kept being tempted by Union Contacts because of the claims they made.

I don’t mean to jump on alika’s thread, but if you’re looking for a rocker board then it may be worth while getting a view on a rocker specific binding like the contact or the Forum Shaka (though tried this on a cambered board and I hated the heel strap as it felt too large and didn’t grip enough).
