Hello. I am looking to buy my first board. Converting from skiing .I am about 5’10” and 160 lbs. I have the opportunity to buy a Burton Operator 158 and a K2 Believer 151 cm. K2 list the 151 cm Believer to be 110-190 lbs but I’m afraid its a little short. What do you think?

158 is a much better length for all mountain.

Thank You. I ruled the 151 out.

There are so many out there for all mountain. How is the Rossi Taipan stack up?

Ok. I ended up with 2010 Burton Clash 155 cm. Hopefully this was a good choice.

The Clash is a good deck, 155 is short but that will help you get a grip with edge control.

Once you start snowboarding you can never go back to skiing, you know that right? :)

Thanks for your help! Trying to get setup for this weekend. I’ll let you know how it goes. Any suggestions on bindings and boots?

And yes I know, no turning back now. :)
