Did you guys ride at the whitelines board review this year?

How can the average rider get involved in riding in a review, so we can ride mulitple boards back to back.

Hi Matt,

Yeah we were on the UK snowboard test… which all of the UK and some of the European snowsports media attend. Bit of a big love-in but a good laugh. All the test data is collated and then used by the by Whitelines in their buyer guide. A chap called Ian Samson (I think he used to be the editor of Document or Whitelines) organises the event. He was keen to get a public test running at Kaunertal, but the issue was getting consumers interested out of season… difficult one as most people don’t start thinking about gear until December and those that start thinking about in October, can only afford one or two holidays… but watch this space, he might put something together next year! I think the best option is keep checking SCUK (www.snowboardclub.co.uk) as Jeremy is always running Demo days at one of the domes.

Cool, many thanks. I think I know Ian Samson, in as much as I have seen him at various shows and trade events. Id love to get involved in the board review, always tried when I worked at in various shops, but never got round to it…. what with commitments and holiday time at work.

thanks again,

Matt
