Hi there, I’m looking for a new snowboard and been reading this site for a while now, I love it.
My preferences are in the freeride range, mainly curving groomed pistes, with the occasional jump on the sides. Not much of a park fan though. I am intermediate to advanced with about 10 years experience.
Looking around, I was firstly tending toward a Burton Custom X or Flying V or the Never Summer SL-R, but then my eye catched the Rossignol OneMagTek and Jones Flagship. I’m a bit in doubt between the two, but now slightly favouring the Jones. My main question is if the Jones is suited for what’s mentioned above or that it is mainly a powder board. Though I like to ride powder, I’m not much of a back country wanderer.
Or am I overlooking a board?
Thanks,
Meindert
PS I’m 1m84 and 75kg, so lengthwise, I would be loomking at 158 for the Rossignol and 161 for the Jones, right?

Meindertvd,
see this post: http://www.snowboard-review.com/forums/viewthread/475/
I’ve just bought myself a Rossi One 161, I should get delivery of it this week some time so I’ll let you know how it rides, although I’ll only be testing it on a snowdome slope!
good luck finding the one you want.

Thanks for your response. It seems as of the Rossignol One is a really nice board, and so is the Flagship probably.
I ran into a once-used testmodel of the Rossignol One today for only EUR 300 (a 159cm), so I decided to go for it. If I change my mind I can still return it, but I don’t think I will.
