hey,

i’ve been reading about this thing called snowflex. sounds badass for some backyard shredding, but i cant seem to find anywhere that sells it. if anyone could tell me where its sold it would be nice to know and how much it is. and if there is any effect to your board that just makes it impossiable to ride any more thanks ahead of the time for any info.

Hi Ryan,

Snowflex is made by a British company Briton Engineering. Us Brits have been riding it for about the last 10 years, it’s now starting to get some recognition in the states because of its use in the Noeux Les Mines facility in France and Liberty University in the US. I think a number of snowboard summer camps like woodwards have used Snowflex on indoor foam pits and rail lines. It’s a really expensive material to buy, we are talking hundreds of dollars for a square meter because ofall the foam laminates that are used. When I was at uni we used to pinch the old dendex that our local ski slope had chucked… now Dendex is evil.
