Hi, I’ve just started snowboarding this year and im looking to buy my first board, bindings and boots

Height: 6 foot
Weight: 140 pounds/10 stone
Shoe size: 11 (uk)
Skill level: Begginer/intermediate
Style: Freestyle/all mountain
Riding: Mostly groomed but would like to start hitting the park (jibs, jumps etc.) and some pow
Preference: reverse cambre and decent flex (below 5-6)
Price: as cheap as possible whilst being good enough :)

Looking at DC PBJ wide 155cm, k2 anagram, and burton freestyle bindings

Anyone got either of these and can give some pros and cons?

Could I get away with a non- wide board? because I don’t want to sacrifice manoeuvrability

Are there any other boards, boots or bindings that you could reccommend for me?

Thanks.

I’m afraid you’ll need a mid wide at the least. Normal width boards I’d say are really a UK at the absolute maximum and that’s with a low profile boot.

I think the PBJ isn’t really what you want if you are after an all mountain snowboard with a freestyle bias…. that is unless you are riding almost exclusively indoors or on Snowflex.

Check out the Rome Postermania Wide, K2 Parkstar wide and the Ride Machete Wide and let me know if I’m on the right track.

Thanks for the Advice. It does seem to be a problem finding cheap wide width boards :/ I do like the boards you suggested, in particular the ride machete so I guess I might just have to save up a bit more for a decent wide board thats more of an all-rounder.

Thanks for the help again :)
