Burton Custom X, 2010 V 2011

Has anyone had the chance to compare the Custom X 2010 against the 2011?  Does the 2010 carve as well as the new model?

Looking at the reviews I can see the 2011 has a new version of Lightning bolts, uprated hardware, Frostbite Edges (although the 2010 seemed to have something similar) but has lost the Stainless Steel Edges.  But does that equal better performance?

The reason for asking is that there are still some new 2010 boards about, much cheaper than this years, but they’re not such a bargain if they don’t perform as well.

I can’t see them being too different. I think the frostbite edges on the cambered Custom X are really special, the board has crazy grip, so if last year’s board had something similar and you can save a bit of dollar, I’d go for it. this year’s board is a scorcher.
