new board for my girl

Hey,I need to find a board for my missus, she’s intermediate but has suffered with catching edges cos she’s got a cheap old style camber board that’s way too short (a 141 for a 60kg 163cm girl) she’s tried the k2 fling and i think she likes it, and the roxy sugar banana liked but found it a little skatey (i think thats about right for a center rockered board?) Didn’t like the artec venus at all which didn’t surprise me! So the question is what all mountain board would be good if I can’t get hold of a K2 fling as they’re sold out in the shops i’ve tried so far?
Help cos she’ll kill me if i don’t find something! Any ideas really! 🧛

So your girlfriend likes the feel of zero camber. There are a few board that use zero camber this season,

Check out the following boards:

Palmer Jade
Smokin PYT (perhaps a little too advanced)
Amplid Mescalina
Nitro Fate (nice looking boad)
Salomon Lilly
DC Biddy (rockered tips and flay between the feet, not quite zero camber but very easy to ride_

All of these boards will hit the spot.

Hi, thanks for the advice Rich of course she has decided on a burton social in the end with the va va voom coming a close second mostly cos the social looks more likely to be able to do some pow should we fancy it.
I have to say I prefer the k2 but that could be because i really don’t like any thing to do with burton!

Next question is what bindings? the shops over here in germany say they’re all pretty much the same in like for like price wise, so to just pick the ones we like the look of in our budget -tell me they’re not right!
she (her indoors) likes the burton lexa in tucan colours, are these a good buy, i won’t be goin for est if i can help it on the board but if i have to i will leaving only one choice of bloody binding!
Any thoughts?
