Hi,

I’m looking at buying a new snowboard. I get away to board for about 3 weeks a year and go to my local snowdome about once a week. looking for a board that is capable all over the mountain but would also be fun to use on park features in a snowdome. I am considering the following boards:
stepchild headless horseman 157
nitro eero 157
nitro rook 156
never summer evo 158
k2 Fastplant 157
Hopefully will be able to test the headless horseman but can’t seem to find anywhere that will let me test the other boards. I weigh just over 80kg and am 5’10”. I noticed the eero is quite narrow will i have any problems with uk 9.5 boots? Currently using an old (and now very abused) forum darkness 156 (which i think is a wide version of the destroyer from 2007) wanting a board which is lighter, slightly easier to press and more maneuverable at slower speeds. Any advice?

Thanks

I have been reading awesome things on the Never Summer SL, definitely a do-it-all board from what I have gathered.

One of the Ewbank bros loves the Headless Horseman but said it is difficult to track one down.

The only board I can kind of comment on is the Fastplant…  I have the Parkstar which has the same profile so it really handles low speeds for creeping up on boxes and unsuspecting friends.  I’ve heard the Fastplant is stiff so dunno how pressable it would be against the Parkstar (which I find is easy to press).

My two cents.
