So you’re riding in Moscow, I’ve read articles about the snowboard parks in the city… man it must be cold and hard most of the time.

First question - Is EST worth the additional money? If you are riding mostly park and jibs I would say no, save the money, buy some standard bindings. Buying EST bindings will resrict you to Burton boards in the future and the more expensive burton boards at that. If you are jibbing and playing around on hard snow you will probably need to replace your board after a season, it’s not worth buying a super expensive board for that type of riding and you won’t benefit from it with what you have to ride. I’d go with a set of Burton Missions, or if you want a more premium binding the Burton Exile is a very popular binding with the park riders in Austria.

Boots - I’d suggest investing that money you save from not buying EST bindings into your boots. If the ground is hard you’ll want to invest in a boot with good impact protection. As Freeriding is going to be a little limited I’d go for a softer skate inspired boot. If you want to stick with Burton then the Burton Hail and Awol are worth looking at. If you are not bothere about sticking with Burton, try as many different brands on as possible, I’d also look at the Vans High Standard and the Deeluxe Rough Diamon and Independent, the 32 Lashed is also a popular boot with urban freestylers.

Boards - Any of the board you have picked out are going to do the job, I’m afraid I haven’t ridden one of the boards in the list so I can’t really comment. I’ve heard a lot of good things said about the Rome Garage Rocker… a a basic spec and design but cheap and durable.
