2011 Burton Custom X Video Review

Rich, Love the video review of the Custom X.  Do you know if the 2011 is much different than the previous year ( besides NO stainless steel edges anymore ?!?! )

THanks for the compliment on the video Snowman, our new GoPro makes filming a lot easier!

As far as differences with last year’s boards go, I’m afraid I didn’t ride the Custom X last year. From the spec I can’t see a huge amount of differences, the one difference that is noticeable by it’s absence in earlier Custom X boards is Frostbite Edges. Because I haven’t tested previous models I can’t tell you whether having them makes any difference. I just know that with them the grip from the Custom X was insane…. I wish I hadn’t given it back!

You only really need stainlesss steel edges if you plan to keep your board in the back of your car.
