hey people,

new to the forum and somewhat new to snowboarding as well with this season being my third year.  thought it was about time i bought my own board, especially since im planning on going up to the mountains for 3 weeks this seasons (this is a lot if you live in the netherlands).
my snowboarding interrersts are basicly everywhere, i want to learn park, mess around in ethe powder a bit and generaly enjoy the slopes.

since this is the first board il be buying it would be handy to get some bindings as wel.
so ive been looking around for some snowboard sets and with 300 euro’s to spend i found the following boards:

volkl dash

atomic vantage 2011

nidecker score 2011

but now im having a tough time deciding wich one i should buy. they all seem like nice beginner boards to further you skills with but im not sure wich one is more suited for me or if it doesnt matter at all. hence im looking for help and advice in making a choiche.

thanks in advance

Hi Koen,

All those boards look perfect for the job of prgressing your riding. My personal choice would be the Nidecker Score. Using zero camber between the feet and rocker at the nose and tail makes initiating turns easier, learning your first jumps more forgiving, straight lining flat sections much less catchy and getting to grips with powder that little bit easier. All of the boards you listed would suit your demands.
