First time posting. Thanks in advance!

Found this used on CL earlier this week and I’m gonna go check it out in a bit.

Don’t know what year it is, but it looks to be in good shape and the guy only wants $130.

Yeah well.. Capita Snowboard of Death, check it out here on our website in case you didn’t already.
The BSOD is a serious ride for experienced riders that love to go fast and lay down the hardest carves on the groomers.

Is it that what you want? Not much info in your post, doesn’t even include a real question :)

I personally wouldn’t buy a used board without any detailed information (can’t tell you what year it is, sorry) for only 130 bucks. But that’s your thing to decide..

Cheers, Tobi

hehehe. i guess the question was in the topic.

i actually just happened to find out it’s from the mid-2000s. someone had it for sale for 100 bucks in 2008 on another forum.

i don’t ride often, but i wouldn’t consider myself a beginner. this board caught my attention cause i liked how it looked, plus, it’s local.

I saw a good package deal on a brand new M3 Discord with some Flow bindings for a little over 200. i’m considering that as well, especially as it’s all new.

i guess i’m a little weary to go with the BSOD seeing as it’s at least 5 years old. maybe that doesn’t make a difference if it hadn’t been ridden much.

Again, that’s just my opinion but I’d rather spend some more $ and snatch a deal for a let’s say 2 year old board from some online shop (available for let’s just say ~300$)and get a new deck which has never been ridden including a bill and a legit warranty.
You just don’t want to spend 130$ just to find out the ride is damaged or whatever.. I’d save myself the trouble but that’s really for you to decide =)

Well the tech on the BSOD changed quite a bit with the rocker ‘revolution’ last year, as it’s now a hybrid rocker. Don’t know about how fast the bases were or how durable the material they used is. But I guess it won’t make that much of a difference compared to a ride 1 or 2 years newer than the one you are throwing an eye at.

cool man. thanks again for the opinion.

i’m gonna go check it out and see if i can get any more info on it. i think as it is i’m gonna end up going with the M3. i spent 2 or 3 months researching bikes in the summer, and i just don’t want to go through that process again. hahaha.
