So, after many hours pondering about what board to get that would help me to step it up and with your advices taken in consideration I decided to go with the custom x with co2 est bindings.
I got the 159 wide and as a reminder I am 5.9, 182 lbs., boot 11 US. I was looking for a board with great edge-hold, great at high speed carving, great in off-piste and that would allow me to take off in kickers and natural lips.
I think this is a serious upgrade for me in terms of “hardware” because I had a 2004 model with 2007 bindings.
My decision was also based in the fact that I wanted to support my local shop. The other boards I was considering where in fact not suited for me mainly because of my built. The T7 is too narrow for my feet and the Vapor had the same problem adding the price tag that I felt did not justify getting it instead of the Custom X.
So, did I decide well ? Was going with this board a good decision ? What are your advices and thoughts for me in order to get the most out of it ? Will I feel a great difference to what I was used to ( the stiffness of the board is not a problem, once my other board is as stiff as this one ) ?
Send your thoughts, Gods of Snowboard !!!

Yeah man good choice on the custom X. I ride a vapor and in my opinion no board is worthy of that price tag. I regret buying it. dont get me wrong the vapor is a sweet stick but not much more added performance over the custom X.
