Hi Maty,
Yeah it’s true that Morrow is owned by K2, back in the day Morrow was an uber brand, now it’s fallen by the way-side a little.
I’ve had a look at the radium and it’s very very entry level. For one, it’s using CAP construction, this is the cheapest way of makin snowboards where instead of inserting a sidewall they form the topsheet fibreglass over the side of the core down to the edge. Maybe 10 years ago a number of manufacturers were claiming that it was a great way to reduce vibrations through the board and increase edge control, but now everybody knows that it’s just a cheap way of building boards. It’s also a lot less durable than sidewall construction. Secondly, it looks like all Morrow boards use 1000 grade extruded base, this is a lower grade base than K2 use on their entry level boards, if your boyfriend is a good snowboarder he’ll find it frustratingly slow.
I think unless he’s just starting you are best looking elsewhere, but there are hundreds and hundreds of boards out there so if you need any help just lidt his experience, weight, height, shoe size and riding style (i.e. does he do jumps or stick to powder etc etc) and we’ll try and help you find a great board at a good price. If he’s a beginner then the Morrow would fit his needs.

ps. i forgot to add that he likes to go mainly on the slopes or on fresh snow ! meaning that he bearly goes to the snow park as he’s a beginner from that point of view!!!
he however snowboards from 10 years and the snowboard he has now is soooooo old i can’t even undrstand how it hasn’t broken yet! (its from an unknown finnish brand just to give you a better idea)!!!

Well the boards suitable for your man fit into two categories, those that will meet his immeditae needs to progress as a beginner, or an intermediate board that will work for the next couple of years as his skills improve. With size 11 feet he’ll need a mid wide boards
I’d look at he following intermediate boards -
Rossignol Taipan 158mW
Ride Agenda 158W
Nidecker Score 158W
K2 Raygun 157W

I agree upon R´s expertice in the subject of matter.
But I think he´s missing the absoulte point here.
Any wife, girlfriend, date or partner in generall that buy´s a board to their boyfriend should have a big cred for that!
So. Cred (loads) to you maty.lo
