Hey all, so ive been riding quite a few years! looking to buy a new board but not to sure how the 25.7 cm width of the Nitro Blacklight (new suprateam) would go with my size 11 Vans Cirro. pls help, im dying to replace my yes with something less flexiable!! i ride mostly freestyle with a bit of park but mostly pow :)

Thanks!!

Hi Oliver,

If that’s a US 11 you shouldn’t have too many problems squeezing onto a board with a aiste width of 25.7cm. Ideally I’d say more around 26 especially as Van’s tend to be quite big butas long as your binding angles aren’t too shallow you should be fine.

Hello, so in case any one was wondering. I went out and bought the Blacklight this weekend. Havnt had a chance to ride yet due to the horrible snow conditions we have here in Switzerland. But the Boots (Vans Cirro 11) fit wonderfully, i can get about 85 Degree angles on both toe and heel side, which depending on the snow condition should give me an effective edge on slopes up to 60 degrees. which is More then enough!!! General Thoughts on the board. Look horrible, i hate the graphics, but then again i dont really care. Its a little more flexible then i thought it would be/feel (ive tried it on in my house), however the torsion is quite stiff, so i think it should be fun on the snow. the Stance is quite wide which worries me for the deep stuff, but then again, if zou dont float, its probably cuz you are not going fast enough :). so there. more to come once i take it out for a ride. !! Let me know if u want a picture of how it looks with the boots strapped on

Don’t worry about the pics, just make sure you let us know how it rides.

Conditions aren’t that much better in Austria at the moment, although it’s been warm so we’ve had 3 consecutive spring park days which has been amazing. On top of that, the holidays are over so there were only about 20 people in the park yesterday and a couple of pros were riding too. Good times :)
