okay, all round mountain snowboarder. salomon grip 157 bought. now its a case of bindings and boots.
Im looking to spend around £130 on bindings and around £120-130 on boots. (UK currency)
For boots i have quite a wide foot in size 9. any suitable brands come to mind which accomodate quite a wide foot?
which do you suggest buying first? or would you suggest buying in a store at the same time to ensure perfect fit?
im aware boot comfort is probably the most important aspect of your gear so is buying in store the best option?
any advice would be thoroughly appreciated.
Cheers

Buy a boot in person, it’s all about fit.  A size 9 in different models will feel different and you would never get that info off a website.

Look at the boots first and then find a binding to match the boot.

I like Burton boots…  they have an extensive line-up that covers all types of riding and budget.  The Moto is one of their best selling boots and has a cleaver dual-zone quick lace system that I dig.  I don’t know which boots support more of a wider foot but you might need an insole upgrade to help out and keep you feet contained better inside the boot.  Check out Superfeet, they are a brand of replacement insoles that I use in most of my footwear and recommend to replace the shitty ones that come with all boots.

If you buy the binding online you pretty much have to take the manufactures word that it will work for the size boot you have.

I’ve never seen Salomon Code bindings but Burton Missions are solid freestyle bindings, very adjustable and comes in pimp colours.

I was actually thinking about the Burton Freestyle but Missions are great as well, stiffer so better for all mountain stuff.
