Male or female board?

Hi guys,

You helped me out last year, I ended up with a One Mag and I love it, I’m now looking for a new board for the Mrs. She’s intermediate about 11/11.5 stone, size 6 boot and riding mainly off-piste. Should I be looking at the bigger womens boards or a smaller guys board, what’s the pros and cons? Any suggestions on boards would be great.

As long as her weight falls in the weight range of the board it should be good provided all the other specs line up for her ability.

I don’t know… size 6 feet are very small. You’ll need a board with a waist of around 24cm which really only fits into the Womens range of boards.

There are plenty of wicked freeride womens boards out there!

Cheers. You’re probably right about the size 6’s. Had a look around and the Salomon Lark looks like a good choice for her.
