hey there,
just looking for some advice on whether i should buy either a Salomon Grip 2011 or Ride Antic 2011.
im 5,11 and 70 kg so i was thinking around a 157?
also, any suggestions on suitable bindings would be a help :)
i want something with some springy pop thats still stable which i can chuck around in the park, handle kickers, carve the piste up confidently and occationally hit the deep stuff. if anything, something which is fun to ride also letting me churn the butter.
Cheers :)

Hey pktom,

The Salomon Grip sounds perfect for you. Ben, one of our testers, loved it so much that he went out and bought one. Check his review here: Salomon Grip

With regards to size I think 157 is perfect as long as your feet aren’t above average….UK9, US 10….....if so you’ll have to look at the 158W.

Yo pktom,
as for bindings, please check out our binding buying guide!

Also, visit our boot size calculator (link on the main page of the site) to check whether you need a wide deck or can still stick with a regular one. I’d say with UK9 you should be able to still go with the 157 but absolutely no guarantee here..

Cheers, Tobi

UK 9 you’ll be fine on a standard width snowboard. Anything from 25.2 to 25.6 is going to be ideal.
