Hi all and sorry for posting in a wrong forum befor:)i am a nooby in forums
I’m writing cause i would like some pro- advices.I am intermediate lever snowboarder 187 cm hight , 84 kg and boots size 11. First let me give you an idea of what i like to do at snowboard. I like to do ground tricks, jumps, rails (but not so often). I like when i get high speeds but not like free-ride, I love park and I really enjoy the powder off piste rides. So I am looking for snowboards that are good at jumps (not extreme ones), forgiving (as im not yet an expert), good at ground tricks, stable at high speeds as much as possible in freestyle board and also can make rails and jibs in a satisfactory level. Finally, I am only interested in rocker and rocker&camper; technology..
So these are the boards i have in mind:
1)Lib tech skate banana(I think is a little stiff (6) for ground tricks, they say that haves low pop and low stability at high speeds, but I don’t know about how much high speeds they meen: )
2)never summer evo(is top for rails jibs ground tricks but I am not sure about some high speeds rides because of the dump 3 that haves)
3)never summer sl(i don’t know if is good for ground tricks
4) rome agent rocker( I think is the best choice but is a little directional ,as they say almost twin. I don’t know if this will cause me problems in park).
Conclusion :I want a park board that its also good enough but not ideal for all mountain use and also good for the most conditions of snow
which one of the above mentioned boards i have to choose? If you want to suggest other ones, you are welcome! Maximum cos of snowboard 500$
Ty for your time

Hey there Anastasios, welcome to our forums!
First of all I’d like to share a thought with you as you are new to forums, and please do not get me wrong here, I do not mean any of the following offending:
You are requesting information and help about a purchase you are going to make, so of course you want the best information you can get, as you are spending quite some money on your equip. But, and that’s the message, you are doing that on a public forum where ppl are willing to spend their time and share their information with you. So asking for “real pros” might easily be understood in a wrong way, leading to aversion, answering to your topic. So for your next topics, just state the question in a forum like here and you can be sure to get the best information possible even without asking for it in the heading!
Now, moving on to your question:
1.) I do not think that the SkateBanana will be too stiff for any of your plans, actually I think it would be a quite good fit!
2.) The NS Evo is a favourite here at SB-R as it won our King-of-Jib Contest (check the video reviews for more information)! Great ride in the park and yet stable and great fun on the whole mountain. It’s a really versatile deck made for riders who want to enjoy some allmountain riding after spending most of their time in the park!
3.) The Sl is quite a stiff and aggressive allmountain deck, it’s definitely no good for piste tricks so better forget about that one!
4.) Don’t know much about Rome, so no information about the agent, I’m sorry.
I think the NS Evo would be a really good fit for you needs, definitely rocks in the park and can provide you with a lot of fun all over the mountain, as well.
On the other hand, the SkateBanana surely won’t be the worst call, as well. Magnetraction will help with the grip on groomers and it’s reputation speaks for itself!
Either way, I think you won’t go wrong with any of those two decks!
Hope this helped a little, Cheers Tobi

Hi Tobi
Thank you for your advise , it was really helpful. Sorry for my headline it was not in purpose to offend anyone, as you are all pros here :)
The problem with skate banana is that in this model i have to buy the 156 wide that is for 100kg raider and i am 84. I dont know any weight in proportion to the lenght for ns boards cos they dont have it in their site
I think i will go for ns revolver 156
thanks again

I think the weight range on Lib’s site is in pounds not kg. So it is 100 lbs not 100 kg

Skip is totally right on that, the chart on lib-tech.com gives weight in lbs!
As 100lbs are around 45kg, there shouldn’t be any issue on that.
Cheers and you’re welcome!
