Morning, Afternoon or Evening folks!

Crazy news. It turns out JP Solberg of YES snowboards fame is in London to pimp his wares at the Metro Ski and Snowboard show tomorrow. Being the big players that we are at Snowboard Review, we’ve been able to wangle an interview with the man. So if anyone’s got any questions they’d like to put to JP about his career, YES his new business venture or life in general, get posting asap!

Hi Rich,

Can you ask JP if being dropped from Burton was a bolt from the blue or if he saw it on the horizon?

Sweet - nice score.

My question to JP. Why so much buzz around the brand? Simple graphics, uncomplicated board lineups (all a great thing) but everyone - EVERYONE - is talking about Yes. What happened?

Actually I got two:

How does he feel about Nidecker working with more and more snowboard pros like J. Jones and A. Autti and helping them pushing their own brands? (you might notice there are like two question implicated here)

And: What does he like most about snowboarding currently: All the filming parts and shots with a huge group of ppl or shredding the park with some friends or just ride pow in the backcountry?

Looking forward to the interview!

I’m gutted we couldn’t get this thread going earlier, but I literally sorted the interview about 4pm yesterday! THanks for the questions, we’ll certainly put them to JP… if anyone’s got any more get posting! You’ve got 2 hrs left.

To keep this up:

I’m sure he suffered some quite serious injuries from snowboarding. How is he dealing with these injuries in private and how do his sponsors react when he injured himself and is malfunctioned for the rest of the season?

What are his plans for the time after his active snowboarding career?

THanks for your questions guys! Tom’s interviewing JP as I write this so I’m afraid I’m going to have to call time on the questions. Check back in the next week to see JP’s answers.
