Planning on getting a board for my girl. Shes currently riding a Lamar Foxie 149 but wants a shorter park orientated board (that can still go anywhere on the mountain).
Its come down to:
Burton GTwin (likes the look)
Burton Lipstick (she hates the look)
K2 Fling (hates the 2010 look might like 2011?)
k2 EcoPop (was put off reading they fall apart a bit easy)
Looks shouldn’t matter but you know girls….
So far GTwin is at the top of the list. I think the fling would be second (once i show her the 2011 colour range).
Anyone know anything good or bad about these boards? Shes an intermediate rider. Can hit black runs nicely buy wants to start jumping, hitting boxes and rails and doing tricks.

Hi Sil3nt,
Dare I ask what your girlfriends stats are?.... although just weight, height and boot size will do!
Has she tried riding a reverse camber board yet?

The only boards she has ridden is her board and my mates 151 Custom which was too big but she still enjoyed it. Shes about 5’4” (wouldn’t know actually) 145lbs (hah im gonna get in trouble if she sees this thread..) and boot size is either 8 or 9.
Shes pretty much sold on the GTwin 146 though. Trouble is its hard finding any information on this board. Not sure if this or the lipstick would be better suited to her. Both seem to come up as excellent park boards.

I will be probably getting my girlfriend a Roxy board for this season coming up. Made by Mervin but carried in the big box stores you get all the cool tech minus the Lib Tech/Gnu price tags. The Roxy site doesn’t show the new boards yet though.
