I just came across some pics of what Smokin Snowboards will run for ‘11
The graphics crack me up. But maybe the “Buck Furton” thing is a bit strong?

Yeah the Smokin graphics for next season are seriously disturbing,,, but pretty funny. I rode the MIP at the board test. I have to say, it was really solid and enjoyable to ride. They’ve blended Urethane into the sidewalls and added zero camber to the mag edges, sooo much better than last year. And the the graphic has a dude with his skull smashed open and his brain hanging out. Not my cup of tea, but pretty amusing and should shock the older ski holidayers!

I’m with you on the Buck Fenton graphic Mr Crane… come on Smokin’, you shouldn’t have to slate other brands to sell your boards. At least do it subtley like the Bataleon with the diagram of how to cut a pig into cuts… a slightly more intelligent way of taking apart the UNinc boards, which at the time were THE boards to have. I like what Jay is doing with the boards… but come on man, concentrate on the product not on Burton.

Yeh’ it’ a shame, shouldn’t have to be that way. In a lineup that looks as strong as smokin Joe’s 2011. Would anybody buy a board just for that comment??? Very nice line though, almost makes me wish I had smaller feet. Speaking of eye candy Some of Nitro’s graphics are looking very tasty - Love the new “Team”.
