Sierra snowboards

Hey a friend of mine is looking at one of the sierra brand snowboards anyone ridden one it’s the sierra crew 2010 there really cheap on there website at the moment. I ride a burton custom and he likes that hes knew to snowboarding and so am I there meant to be similar boards.

Sorry, I haven’t had a chance to put the Sierra boards through their paces. To be honest, if the flex isn’t too stiff and the board is at a reasonable price then a beginner shouldn’t have too many issues. To be honest it’s what these budget entry level boards are all about. A board to ride until your skills are up to a level where you’re happy with carving and turning on red runs, then invest in a slightly more high spec ride. The performance probably won’t be up there with the custom, but in my opinion, the Custom isn’t designed for beginners in any case.
