Anyone had a change to try them in 09?
Opinions? Looking for binding to pair with my new Angus.

Hi dsc3,
I didn’t try the Apo Expressos myself yet but I can tell you what I heard about them before:
Most of the ppl I asked about them said that they were slightly better than the K2 Cinch and technically more advanced.
I tried the K2 Cinch and wasn’t completely blown away from them but that was probably because I am just not too much into this whole fast step-in thing. In case you are, go and try the Expressos, I don’t think that you will go far wrong with them, looking for a hybrid binding~
Cheers, Tobi

Thanks again Zoryfl,
Do you have any experience with the k2 Auto? Those look interesting; seem to be light but well built.
If I go with traditional, what are your thoughts on the Burton Cartel?

Unfortunately I don’t know anything about the k2 Auto in detail. But I thought about them just as you do, as I considered buying them as well- super light and some interesting strap-tightening tech. Although, in the end, I wasn’t sure to trust the new tech but as I read, it seems to workout just fine. Sorry I can’t tell you more..
The Cartel is a pretty decent oldschool strap-on binding! I read about some ppl having problems with the heigth and the steepness of the highback but it’s simple math with bindings which are getting sold massively- the more riders, the more complaints.
I would get myself a pair of Union’s or Drake’s before buying some Burton binding for the same money, though. Same old story, you know.. Might want to check out the Union Force, looking for a regular allmountain binding.
Cheers again
