Does anyone have any information about the UK snowboard brand “The Contraband Agency “?
Pictures would be nice.

What kind of stats are you interested in?

I think the boards come in a 151 and a 155. 7-8m radial side cuts. I think they use biaxial glass and the nero has carbon reinforcement. I don’t think they’re pushing the limits of snowboard design, but they’re definitely trying to create a very Northern identity. Quotes from Bez and Ian Brown all over the catalogue/ they’re mad for it!

For me it’s all about Nose, Waist & Tail width to start with (Size 11 Boot) Closely followed by rider weight (87kg About 13 stone)

Thanks

Hmmm, I don’t think the Contraband Agency boards are going to meet your requirements.

Max waist width is 250 and with a standard sidecut radius, doesn’t look like they’re going to fit your feet.

The Contraband Agency

Hi Rich,
Thanks again for the picks & info. I like the look of the “Barosso”, shame I don’t stand a chance of getting any
of the offerings from contraband unless I chop my toes off.

Anything tasty out there for 2011 in WIDE - AM Twin? Intermediary to advanced level. Be curious to know your thoughts.

Cheers
MC

Hi MC,

Off to the board test next week, so I should be able to point you in the right direction once I’ve had a good rumage through next years boards. It’s forecast to rain pretty heavily next week so it might be less fun than it sounds…. now where did I put that Nikwax?

Cool,

Sounds good to me, even with the rain. Got it bad this year!
Looking forward to the report.
