Hello,

I’m buying my first snowboard and am stuck between two picks.

The first:

Capita Totally fkn awesome 153cm

The second:

Ride Crook Snowboard 149cm

I have done a bit of research on both and found they are pretty good all round boards, which is what I was looking for as I will mainly will be doing all mountain riding. The main difference between the two is their stiffness. The Capita was rated a 7 and the Crook a 3.

I have read that for beginners it is recommended to go for a softer option. I have been boarding once for 2 weeks before and by the 7-8 day I was very comfortable and having a bunch of fun.

So I cant make the decision between the two boards, I do like the first one but I’m worried it will be too stiff and I may not enjoy it..? The second one is a good option (and price) for a much softer board, but will I really notice the difference between the two once I’m out there?

Recommendations/Thoughts?

Cheers
