Should i make a splitboard?

hi, i want to know if i should split my 2009 burton custom x? if anyone has info about this its much appreciated.

Hey, sorry for the late reply.

Aplitting old Burton boards is notoriously difficult because of the insert pattern. I’m told a waterjet cutter will do a nice job. If the board has the Channel I would also assume that this adds additional diffulties when making the cut and when sealing the inside edge from the elements. The forum at Splitboard.com will be the best place to find-out if it’s advisable.
