Hey looking for a bit of advice.
Im pretty new to boarding, and looking to get my first board.
Im pretty tall 5’9 and 140lb so looking to get probably about a 152,
so far from what i have demo’d i like the nidecker elle and the artec venus. Im told the k2 sky lite is pretty similar to the venus but would be a better board to last me a few seasons. (not keen on the graphics on the venus!) I also like the k2 bright lite as well.
Any help or other suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!

I started out on my Avalanche Le Femme (and i still love it). I know a lot of people think Avalanche is a trash brand but I bought my board from TheHouse.com and it’s treated me better than my two Morrows and my Burton.

This depends in what you want to ride and what do you want to learn.
I give you 2 choices from Burton:
Burton Feather
Burton Feelgood Flying V
but these boards have 2 very distinct purposes.
The Feather is very loose board and it’s perfect if you want to improve your snowboard, to jib, do park, and learn some tricks. It’s also an excellent board for powder. It may not be the best board for groomers but it’s very easy to ride.
The Feelgood is also very good to improve your skill but you need to have some beginner intermediate skill to ride this one. It’s also great for powder, speed, groomers and specially for jumps.
