The title says it all. The board is 161 cm and midwide which means that the waist is 26,4 cm compared to 25,5 on the regular one. I have size 10 in boots. Do you think the width will be a problem?
My concern is that it’s going to feel a bit slow edge to edge. Snowboarding in scandinavia often means a mix of ice, groomers and slush in the spring, so naturally I want to be able to charge hard, carving up the pistes. Of cource I prefer pow but most of the time it’s about making the best of what you have - that meaning groomers/ice.
Thankfull for any replies!

You’re on the edge there, so it all comes down to riding preference. I ride a mid-wide myself (size 11 us) and like the stability when charging - willing to give up a little on agility. Ride it enough, you may grow to like it.
Have fun.

It may also be exhausting. If you try it in a narrower waist, especially on any hardpack, you will be shocked. Cut it, lose .5cm in sawdust and you have a splitter of the correct width!
