Hi there.
Which one should I choose?
Burton Custom Camber or Flying V?

I like powder very much but where I snowboard not always there is powder available and the snow is hardpacked. I’m learning now jumps when there is no fresh powder to attack where I snowboard.
I have 0 motivation to do park. 1000% motivation for fresh snow on the backcountry.
I had a Burton Bullet 2008 that had a flex 5 and had super fly core with a cambered profile (not the same as the Burton Bullets from 2009-2012 that have the 0 camber Ez-v). This board is great for powder and I want to keep the same feeling. It’s also stable on hard snow.
Already tested a custom cambered version from 2009 and I liked it, but didn’t test it on fresh snow.
Never rode a Rocker board before and don’t want to waste money to “try out” the Flying V.
What do you recommend?

This question arose because in these 2 links

http://thegoodride.com/snowboard-reviews/burton-custom/
http://thegoodride.com/snowboard-reviews/burton-custom-flying-v/

there is a difference in the rating for powder between the custom and the custom with flying V.

I have 75 kg and I’m 1,78m height. I’m choosing the 158 version. I had the Burton Bullet 2008 159 version.

Please reply admins with all your wisdom 

Ive spent a week on a Custom Flying V, its a fantastic ride in good conditions.  It is NOT suitable for regular hard conditions riding.  The edge hold on flying v sucks on anything less than soft snow.  Some say its about how good your riding technique is but i wholeheartedly disagree with that suggestion.  Its possible to ride it on hardpack but difficult to enjoy.

Go camber, my man.

Or dont buy Burton :)
