Rear-Entry Bindings

Anyone have an opinion on rear-entry bindings? I guess I would consider myself an all-mountain rider. I like to hit features when I see them but I’m really just looking for a good ride.  The convenience of rear-entry bindings is appealing, but do you sacrifice control just to save a few seconds strapping in? If not, are there any bindings in particular that anyone would recommend?

Thanks!
Kyle

I went with GNU Backdoors to put on my T.Rice 153; love the ease at top off the lift but I found they weren’t stiff enough for that board.

I would have rather had the Park or Mutant chasis than the plastic one on the lower end Backdoors.  I got em for 125.00 on clearance in March of 2012 so I put them on my Attack Banana and they matched the flex on that board much better.  I like a stiffer binding on a stiffer board like the T.Rice.  Quality is great otherwise.

I rode the K2 Cinch and Auto (which is more like a regular strap-in binding binding, but you only need to strap one ratchet). Both worked alright for me, although I still prefer to strap myself in those bindings. No bad bindings, though..

I heard the Apo Team is a great binding with rear-entry system, so make sure to check that one out as well!

Cheers Tobi
