Did i buy the right board??

Just bought a used Burton K2 Vandal freestyle with the boot things attached for $100. My 13 year snow boarded his first time last winter and loved it. I know absolutely nothing about boards. Just now looking up the name and realized this is a youth board. Yea should have done my research prior to purchasing! I am now wondering if this is the right kind of board for him and how long will he be able to use it. My son is 5’3 and weighs 98lbs.
