Did someone ride the 2012 Gnu Impossible Series board?
I want to add a second board to my small collection. I’m riding a 2010 supermodel x since 2 years. It’s a real bomb. I really like it. So fast!
I’m looking for lighter and more flexible board than the supermodel x. The Gnu magnesium fiber technology look really cool. But I want your comment on this one.
Thanks!

I think it’s called the Impossible Series, because it’s impossible to get hold of one at demos. It’s an expensive deck so distributors tend not to take it to demos, SB-RV still hasn’t had the opportunity to test it.

I found a last year model in a shop in Quebec city. Half price. Could be a good deal but I don’t know if I will really have a different experience than with my supermodel x.
But mostly here’s what I’m looking for.
I want another freeride board but with more aerial attribute. I can certainly accept a compromise on velocity and stability. I was looking for a different camber type too. The rocker/camber could be great. Finally I was thinking going with a wide board to reduce the length of this one. I doesn’t have so much big feet but I’m getting older and heavier too…
Any suggestion?
If possible I will buy a green board.
Last thing. Your website is amazing.

Hi Groleau,
you could have a look at the K2 Lifelike or the Amplid Paradigma.
They are both flatline cambered boards which adds quite a bit more liveliness compared to a regular cambered board. They should have a similar flex pattern, both directional twins and in my opinion great boards.
Tell me what you think about them.
Cheers Tobi

I doesn’t find a weight chart for the Amplid Paradigma but with my 200 pounds I think that the 159 will do the job. Hybrid-V Camber must be great to ride. I never saw any Amplid board in Quebec and it’s a another point that make me go with the them. Their Pow Rocker camber must be incredible after a huge drop. Great shop!
But it’s not a easy choice. I don’t know if the weight chart is right but I could ride the Lifelike 154W. In that case it will be the smallest board I never ride. It could be a better combination to my supermodel x. More different in a certain way.
Thanks for your suggestions.
