Just picked up a ‘12 burton whammy 157, and want some est bindings to go with it. It will be my “park” setup, but that is a loose definition as I generally try to make the whole mountian a “park”. I’m 6’ 170, and used to using ride deltas. My main concern is durabilty. I like the malkavitas (spelled from memory), but would use a cheaper pair if they would hold up. Thanks!

Hey buddy, depends on stiffness of the binding, if your not bothered about that go for a custom est binding, which are built to last, cheapest in the range but are a pretty soft binding, so altho good in the park, you may not get the responsiveness on the hill that you desire. If your willing to part with a bit more cash you can’t go wrong with the Cartels which are awesome, a bit stiffer but still will hold up to pretty much anything.

Hope this helps

Other low end binding such as the Missions would do fine too, it’s pretty much price dependant.
