Hi Aprice,
NeverSummer is a solid manufacturer who is so confident about his boards that he is giving a 3-year-warranty on them!
That said, the SL-R is a really nice ride with some nice set of graphics- at least I think so.
If you made up your mind a little and plan on riding what the SL-R was built for, you are not doing anything wrong going with the NS SL-R!
Cheers Tobi

Haven’t really got a bad thing to say about NS. THey’ve got a very loyal following, epecially in Colorado and the 3 year warranty speaks for itself. The SLR is NeverSummer’s Burton Custom equivalent and gets the most interest on this site. A do everything all mounatin freestyle snowboard. In my experience, Never Summer decks are quite a bit stiffer than their website suggests.

Hey Aprice,
I am a big fan of Never Summer. In my opinion, you really can’t go wrong with one of their boards. As zoryfl and Rich have stated above, the 3 year warranty alone should tell you how much they stand behind their product. They also have a lifetime warranty on their sidewalls, which is amazing.
More important than that though, is the way they ride. I haven’t strapped my feet to any other brand since 1996. Every model I’ve ridden has been stable, poppy, and has had amazing edge hold. I’m currently riding a 2011 Heritage X and it’s my favorite so far. I highly recomend their boards!
