Help for first board

Gday
Finally decided its time to get my own board after a couple of seasons of hiring. Have spent a bit of time reading stuff on here and on a few other website and im starting to confuse myself.
Im 186cm 83kg beginner to intermediate and would love some advice on what to get.
Iv looked at the burton clash and K2 raygun, would something like these 2 be suitable for my level?
Also living in Australia snow gear seems so expensive, do you guys have any online shops you can recommend?
Would really appreciate any feed back i get.

Dogfunk.com usually has a lot of good deals off of snow gear and the House Board shop could have some good deals also.
