Hey fellas,
I am 5’8” 170 and I am an intermediate or a bit above level rider. I have been riding 13 yrs now and I love the sport. I have just ordered an arbor Westmark. I ride mostly park kickers, in the 30-50 foot range I would say and do a few rails as well and am keen on riding groomers fast occasionally and popping Ollies, 180’s and 270’s on flat. I rock a 22.5-23 inch stance. I am on a burton joystick 154 currently and have never owned or ridden a board longer than that. Do you think I should have gone for the 153? Or will I not notice too much difference between a 154 and 156? I figured since its a softer board, it would give me a little extra stability to go longer. Was I wrong or should I still be able to play and spin on the 156 without too much difficulty?
Thanks for any input!

1cm longer on the nose and tail… you won’t notice the difference. The Westmark is pretty damn soft so I shouldn’t think you’ll find it too much board at 170lbs. Relax and enjoy the ride.
