Advice on which board to buy please

K2 Cinch bindings (I have a bad back) :)

I have been riding for around 14 years and would rate myself pretty advanced on and off-piste. I do not tend to enter the park and will search for POW wherever possible even if it means trecking etc…

I have had 3 Rome Anthems to date (keep damiging them off-piste) and the last was a Rome Anthem SS 163. I also have Salomon Sick Stick 163 for the full POW days (only used once so far).

Last holiday we had very poor snow conditions in whistler and I completely trashed the base of the Anthem again and so I need a new board once again.

I am considering sticking to what I know and love or trying something different.

therefore I am considering a new Rome Anthem SS (but a 161 this time) or the Lib Tech Travis Rice Pro Horsepower C2BTX 161.5. I wonder if the Travis Rice would be too much for me and I would not get the best out of it as I would be doing veru limited park (i.e. straight air) and generally focusing on steep and deep.

What do you guys think?
