Just seeing if anyone on this forum has tried out the Rossignol One Mag-Tek. Im a mountain and powder rider plus going through the terrain park on the way through. I also ride alot of snow here in the midwest which can be hard and icy alot. Just wanted to get some reviews. If there is any other board suggestions let me know.

looking at the specs this board seems MADE for you… also K2 and some high end Burtons maybe some things to look at, i ride a K2 beleiver and i love it, From what you said about a riding style it seems like were pretty close. i might be a little heavier on the park but non the less, i would highly recommend that board.

The One Mag should suit you really well!
It’ll provide you with quite some edge hold and is great for carving and piste riding.
Steve here on the website rode one or even owns one, if I’m right.
He might throw in a comment about it sooner or later..

Here in the Midwest resorts a lot of the machine made snow becomes real hard pack or icy at time. Will this board do well in hard conditions and is it a durable board?

When the conditions are hard & icy, this board performs at its best. The MT greatly reduces the washout you may know well. You will have a greater degree of confidence in such conditions and feel good knowing the board is capable of performing well on the days when you might be lucky enough to have the “fresh” fall your way.
