Hey everyone! New to the forums here. I was previously riding the first model burton hero with cartels and it is the only board I have ever owned. Unfortunately it got lifted when I was at keystone last weekend so now I need to replace it. I really liked that board and I took it everywhere on the mountain. I am now looking at the never summer legacy as I wear a US size 11 boot. Might try to size down to a 10.5 in the future tho but I am still thinking legacy over ls? The other board I am considering is the lib tech attack banana. I think I want the hybrid camber but am I going to notice a huge difference? Also, I have never used magne traction and am not sure if I would like it or not. I am probably 85/15 mountain riding vs park. I like to hit steep groomers and am finally getting good at moguls, trees, and bowls which is probably where the majority of my riding takes place now. As I get better in the park, I might start spending a little more time there but I mostly enjoy the smaller jumps as I build confidence. Which board is the one for me? Is the attack banana going to be too park oriented or would it be a good choice? Also, is the legacy going to be enjoyable in the park for me? Anything else I should be considering? thanks for your help!

acctually the banana is DEFINITELY the way to go for a park rider. The other board you mentioned i am not too familiar with, BUT for all terrain purposes… i ride a k2 believer and take it EVERYWHERE on the mountain. although i do regret not going with a more technological board, maybe with banana or wave tech…

If you want a board that’s going to perform well all over the mountain, you really can’t go wrong with the Legacy.  I’ve ridden Never Summer’s for a very long time now and the Legacy is a great board for groomers, powder, & steeps.  As far as park, it will be a very stable jump board.  If you’re looking to get more into jibs and such, you might want something softer, but seeing as you said you’re 85% mountain, 15% park the Legacy would be a good choice.  Can’t give you an opinion on the Attack Banana, but it sounds like a rad board as well.  Maybe demo them if possible.
