Hi… I’m a beginner boarder… I found an old but unused atomic exeter 160 probably a 2007 or 2008 model… There are only few reviews f this board on the net thus I couldn’t decide… I’m 193cm tall and my weight is 85 kilos… obviously I don’t intend to do park or freeride… If you don’t mind would you share your experiences and would you advise it for a beginner?

Thank you in advance

Based on it’s specs this looks like a decent enough board to learn with. It’s a wide board, but based on your height/weight I’m assuming you have larger feet and therefore need a wide board anyway. You should be looking at something around 160cm in length, so you’re spot on in that respect.
If it’s a real bargain then I say go for it!

You can get a lot of beginner board for that kind of money. For around 100USD more you could pick up a new Burton Clash or Bullet, which are good beginner boards. I would suggest shopping around a bit and seeing what else you can get for your money.
I’m not saying that the Atomic is a bad board to start with, but if you feel like you’re being ripped off then try somewhere else. There are lots of great beginner options on the web - try having a look at the board selector on this site and then see if you can pick up any of the suggestions here for similar money maybe?
