Rich , have you had the chance to see up close or better yet ride the Now binding? There seems to be a lot of buzz concerning these and I’d like to hear from experts how they perform. They certainly look the business and I think they would work nice with my new Ultralight. Also, what boots work well with the Nows? I’m planning on some new Northwave double decades? Thanks for your info and thanks for your excellent website.

Hey Mike,
neither Rich nor I had the chance to ride a pair of NOW bindings, yet - sorry.
But we surely had a closer look at ISPO! The bindings felt really light yet solid built, the idea behind it seemed like the most logical thing in the world after we heard about it. Also, there were 3 sets of spacers: soft, medium and firm to allow you to regulate the force transmission level (if you know what I mean).
They definitely looked like cool bindings and we’re looking forward to strap on to a pair some day soon.
We took some shots of the bindings, including close ups and we even filmed an Interview, so stay stoked and check back SB-RV for further information!

Yeah like Tobi said we filmed a video… but my computer needs a good dusting because everytime I try and render the video my computer gets too hot and goes into meltdown. But we should have the vod up in the next week or two.
The principle is pretty sound and the fact that the highbacks are so lightweight and short gives me the impression that you parely need any force transmitted through the highback because all of the force is transmitted through the pivoting of the binding. The build quality looks good (Nidecker is behind the project and is using it’s binding factory to manufacture them) and damn are they light! I think they might be a bit pricey, but no more expensive than your Burton Diodes and Salomon Calibre.

Sounds good guys. I’ve heard that they will retail for $279.00 which sounds good to me. We will see soon enough.
