Last year I bought a 2011(!!) Nitro Blacklight Gullwing. Now I want to know more about it and tried google it on the internet. I can’t find it anywhere!! In 2011 there was nog Blacklight Gullwing! How is this possible? I really own one. See picture. Somebody please help me. Do I own a fake board?

Hey mate,
this should be the board you bought.. There really is no gullwing on it, though. Who told you the board you bought had gullwing on it?
Cheers Tobi

Tobi,
Thanks for your reply.
The board you linked to isn’t the board I own. I looks like it very much, but the colors are different.
See picture. It really says ‘Gullwing’. The mystery still isn’t solved…

Did you buy a board at a regular shop or over the internet for some bargain price?
Could you maybe take a photo of the board side (long edge), so we can have a look at the core profile it’s got?

I bought it at a dutch shop called Kater. (www.kater.nl) It’s a well known shop in The Netherlands. Normal price should be about € 800,—, but I bought it end of the season (march) for € 500,—.
See picture. I hope you can see it clear. The middle of my board is on the ground. Both sides don’t touch the ground.
Thanks for your support so far.

Looks pretty genuine to me. Sometimes brands will release a limited quantity of new boards early to test the market. The camber is definitely Gullwing.
If you’re still worried about it. There should be a unique code pressed into the topsheet. Nitro has probably got a record of the code if it is genuine.
