Definately interested in this board.
My stats:
Male Weight: 180.7 lb (82 kg) without gear on
Length: 68.5 inches
Footsize: 10¾ inches, 44 (EUROPE), 10.5 (US & Canada), 10 (UK)
Stance: Regular duck 20 degrees, -15 degrees.
I would appreciate it if you could tell me what size board should i get?
153? 157? 161.5? (is my footsize ok without there being a wide version?
Right now im rocking a Burton Operator 158 with Burton Cartel EST.
Planning on doing a lot of jumps / flips and ripping slopes plus the occasinal jib.
Think im going for Cartels because i like them so much, even travis rides them himself so..
Sorry for all these questions, would appreciate it A LOT if you could answer
* I also posted this in the review section of this board. I realised too late it was the user review section instead of the ask a question thingy. Sorry for that.

Hey Martinos,
I’m sorrry but I guess with a 44 boot size you will be having trouble with overhang on a non-wide board.
Go to our main-site and use the boot size calculator if you’re still having doubts.
It might be a bit annoying to go look for another board now but in the end you won’t have much fun dragging your heels and toes in the snow when carving..
But as I said, go use the boot size calculator and tell me what it says!
Cheers Tobi
P.S.: I’d go with the 157 or 161.5 if I were you.

About the board waist width, currently i have the burton operator with a waist width of 248mm and im doing fine with Large Cartel EST bindings and Burton Ion boots size 10.5 US.
Burton Ion as you might know has shrinktech technology which effectively reduces the footprint size of the boot by 1 size.
So effectively my footsize is now 9.5
However im conceirned with my weight.
like i said im 180 lbs but when i look at lib-tech website i get confused.
According to the libtech board specifications:
Travis Rice 153 100+lbs waistwidth 253mm
Travis Rice 157 120+lbs waistwidth 258mm
Travis Rice 161,5 130+lbs waistwidth 260mm
All sizes of the board have a waistwidth bigger then my current board so i guess im ok.
If not plz tell me.
So only question is what size should i ride with my weight if i want to rip slopes and be able to do jumps and spins and flips?
Thanks for your advice btw

You’d probably get away with the 157… tbh there’s not a lot of difference between the 157 and 161.5 T.Rice. The reason being that they are two different shapes. The extra length in the 161.5 goes into the pointy tips. A nice extra bit of surface area for floating in powder but not really any extra effective edge. Have you thought about the 160 Phoenix? You’ll be on the 157 T.Rice but the Phoenix might suit you a litle better for more all-mountain riding.
Riding an Operator with a 24.8 waist and size 10.5 US boots is a recipe for boot drag but with shorter soled boots it’s probably just do-able.

Both Phoenix’s (jamie Lynn’s and Lando’s) only support up to 10.5 us bootsize.
Plus the Phoenix is softer in flex then the T. Rice,
How would softer help all mountain riding? Is there something about the phoenix that i don’t know?
I guess the phoenix supports more weight better..
I also know Travis rice himself weighs in at around 180lbs and rides 157 for park and 161.5 for all mountain.
Amd what about the dark series? Little bit stiffer and larger waist width

Hi.
I am kind in the same situation of martinos.
I weight: 155lbs
Height is: 5 10
Foot size is (43 Europe)
I want to buy Travis Rice Pro. I am 70% park 30 % POW. I want to buy the 153, but I am afraid It will be to small for high speed jumps and going on POW. But 157 seems too big for having good fun at the park.
Is the 153 equivalent to a 154-155 because of the shape? What board should I buy?
Many thanks,
Miguel.

Hey Martinos… if you’ve seen Art of Flight then rewatch Lando’s part… he rides the Phoenix. I think Lib rate the flex 0.5 points softer… so barely anything.
Miguel. You’re about 5lbs heavier than our tester Tom. He rode the 153 and thought it was perfect for his weight… so yeah if you’re riding 70% park then the 153 will do fine.

See this thread is slight dated but I was curious if anyone could help.
I’m about 5ft. 10in and 175lbs - Shoe size 10.5. I was curious if the T. Rice pro 2013 model would work for me or should I up it to the 157?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
