Burton Custom X, need bindings

i have a 2012 custom x and i need bindings, not sure which ones to go with.  of course im looking at est’s.  i mostly go down the mountain as fast as i can.  im on the east coast so im snowboarding in a lot of patchy ice. im 6’1 and about 240lbs.  im not a big park rider.  so im looking for bindings that are stiff enough to support my style. i was looking at the burton restricted malavita, or maybe the cartel est’s not sure. anybody have this same issue or could help me? thanks

I ride a 2012 custom x w/ cartel restricted est bindings. I definitely recommend going with the cartels. They are extremely responsive and definitely good for a high speed charger. The only real difference between the cartels and the cartel restricted is the size of the ankle strap. Some people like the bigger strap, some people don’t. I wouldn’t recommend the malavita for the custom x though. They are more of a high end park binding. The other one from burton i would recommend is the Prophecy reflex. I haven’t ridden it myself but I’ve heard a lot of good things. And don’t bother with the Diode or X-base. They’re just overkill, way too stiff, even for the custom x.
