I’ve been bumming my bro’s board for the longest time and I banged the hell out of it. I would say my skill is intermediate. I plan on snowboarding in Tahoe at sierra (if they ever get any snow). SO I’m debating on getting a o-matic boron 146 board. I weigh about 210 pounds and about 5’8. I know the board is wayy small but its going for a good price, what do you guys think? I plan on hitting park, trees, just about anything. let me know what you guys think, any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

Hey JMax,

If you ride a 146 you will smash it to pieces in a matter of hours. It’s a false economy to get a board just because it’s cheap if it’s the complete opposite to what you need. Riding a board this small would only damage your riding. Start looking at boards between 158 and 162 and you’re more likely to find something built for a 210lbs man not a 100lbs grom. I would honestly avaoid wasting your money on a 146…. I had to check you hadn’t written 156 or 166.
