Hi, i need help buying a board. I wanted to get the burton aftermath, but im a little sketched out about the new M6 Channel instead of the traditional binding mount setup. Any ideas for a good board?
Heres my specs_
Height - 5’10”
Weight - 170lbs
Shoe Size - 10.5”

the boards gunna be used mostly on groomed terrain all mountain but im at the park alittle. also i live in the east coast and its icey and choppy as hell.
id rly like another board but if the m6 channel thing isnt a problem im guna get the aftermath.

Used the Chanel system loads of times on Demo boards and had no problems at all… but I’ve never owned it for a long time and mounted/unmounted the bindings lots of times so I can’t vouch for the durability.

I’ve been riding the channel system for a couple years now. I actually like it a lot more than the regular 4 screw disc bindings. You can customize your stance better and its a hell of a lot easier to adjust and mount your bindings. If your only problem with the board is the est channel, then just get the board. Besides, there are a few other companies that are est compatible. Forum, Flow, and a few others have est conversion kits.
