i am going to buy really cheap a burton twc standard 2011/12 150. I am 165cm and 70kg . Will it be suitable for me? i am a beginner and i want to know if the turns will be easy with this board to learn on and if the board is forgiving enough. The guy that sales it wants an answer and gave me a few hours to find out if i want it. Also is the 150 right for me? Can u please help me?
thanks!

Hi Discordia,
as it seems you are in a bit of hurry with your decision, I’ll help you real quick.. christmas spirit, you know..
The TWC Standard definitely is board suited for beginners. Its flex is pretty soft and will help you progress with your riding as fast as possible.
We weigh about the same and although I’m around 15cm taller than you, I’d say the 150 is alright as it’s mainly the weight that counts. (I’m riding a 159 but with a pretty stiff flex).
If you can get it really cheap and the board is in a good condition, just pull the trigger and go with it. It will be alright for the beginning and if you get the hang of it and like to go boarding more often, you will need a new board at some point anyhow.
Hope this helped a little
Cheers Tobi
