Hey ya

So i’ve been checking lots of decks but my favourites are the ride crush 2012, burtons blunt 2012 and k2 www 2012. I was just wondering which would be the best for me? I ride park, rails, jibs, small jumps. What im looking in a board is super light weight, flexability and all that fun stuff. Just a fun park/jib board. Something really easy to play with bcoz of the boards weight.

Thanks for the helpz

Peace

Hey

I have the girls version of the WWW - the Va Va Voom. Essentially the same board, just smaller. I picked this over a Burton Social, which is basically the same as the Blunt. Both are fun to jib, quite poppy (as much as a soft board can be) and great to butter. I ended up picking the K2 because I thought it was more responsive to what I wanted to do. It’s also stable on landings, and can hold an edge when it needs to.
Both bases on these are extruded rather than sintered, so you are going to sacrifice some speed by picking one of these, meaning if you want to try bigger jumps you’re going to need more of a run up.

The K2 is going to weigh less because you downsize with it - 5/6cm from normal size. This is going to make the overall weight and perceived swing weight feel less straight away.

If you have a little bit of extra cash, it would be worth considering the Burton Nug instead of the Blunt. You donwsize up to 10cm on this board, so the weight is going to be much less than you’re used to. It’s also got a sintered base, so on a mountain it’s going to get you home a bit quicker than the other two. It’s supposedly a little bit stiffer than the Blunt, but unless you’re super-specific with your jibs, I don’t think you’ll notice too much.

With Ride, I only have experience of the higher end girls park boards, so not sure what the Crush would be like.
